poems for funerals

Since death is a certain fact that in most cases would cause grief and bereavement to the deceased's family, the existence and creation of eulogies is also certain. Generally, people who are requested to deliver eulogies are those people who are considered to know best the deceased person.

On the day of the funeral my uncle came and stood by my side as I read the funeral poem and I was so glad that he did, I thought that my heart was going to jump out of my chest, it was pounding that hard. Grief is much easier to deal with when you have a faith filled hope that a deceased loved one is connected to God and you in a relationship that may have changed, but has not ended. Many short poems exemplifies the theme of reassurance to the living that death is not the cessation of life but a continuation.

If they were a sailor perhaps the harbor or yacht club would be a good place to gather. People should realize through the poem that they lived with a kind soul and great person. The family is free to participate as much or little as they wish in the funeral.

To be asked to deliver a memorial tribute is to be given the responsibility of assisting many. As hard as it may seem right now, it gets better.
